I wanted more concrete action items out of this book. It's mostly a high level explanation (that smart marketers have already figured out) with few nitty gritty details. A good chunk of content is on the author's website but you have to give up an email to get it, which is the kind of bait and switch seasoned marketers associate with spammy business practices. Just use a FB pixel and retarget...it's more polite.

For someone like myself that is not in the behavior research field, this book was a great introduction. Kept my attention throughout with relatable stories and easy to understand concepts of how behavioral research is utilized for marketing across many platforms. Great read.

Over my career I've ready many business books - and I can say that this is one of the best! It is very easy to read - informative and entertaining - while providing useful insights into marketing and market research. It gives you a new perspective - Will has developed a revolutionary approach to market research that provides real insight into peoples' behaviors. Unlike many business books, Will has made this easy to read and understand - and keeps it interesting. Can't recommend this enough for anyone in Marketing or Research!

Will Leach has done a great job in making behavioral research understandable. As a retired Fire Chief I can attest that this book can help leaders in all fields on getting an inside look into human behavior. This is by far one of the best business books that I have come across. I highly recommend Mr. Leach's book. You won't be disappointed.

Every once in a while you come across a business book that you can immediately put into action for your brand and with your team. This is one of them!!! Will has addressed the biggest problem in marketing - the fact that people make decisions at an emotional, rather than totally rational, level. This is a MUST read for anyone who has a product, a service - or even just a message - and has been wondering how to get the consumer to actually REACT to the offer. Absolutely terrific read. This is a refreshing change from many business books, which are sometimes pedantic and hard to read. Will's book is easy to read, includes great stories and examples, and it tells me exactly how to apply it to my business. It's also just a great read in general....whether you use it for business or to just understand the world from a new psychological angle. You won't be disappointed.
