I originally read this series years ago and fell in love with it.... But I have got to say, re-reading this updated version is even BETTER than before. Deeper character building and family dynamics. And I love the new cover!!! <3 If you haven't read this series yet... it is a great family/coming of age DD story that will have you drawn in! And I can assure you, it gets better and better as the series/story goes!
I have read all of the books in this wonderful series. This updated version is very good and I absolutely love how the characters are developed. I love the whole family dynamic. Sam is a strong young woman that often puts herself in danger. The men in her life love her and want to protect her. Even though she is disciplined Sam does not give in easily. I am glad that she keeps her 'fiery' personality. I look forward to reading the rest of this series as Ms. Hayse updates them.
I never thought she could make this book any better then it already was. The character building and chemistry that all the characters have is amazing. There are so many things left open in the original that Bree answers in this one.
I loved this book. The characters are so real and I enjoyed how they interacted with one another. I am looking forward to reading book two.
I was not sure about this book as I am not usually into books where someone has above normal abilities . Burn this book proved me wrong. I loved the whole family, and Samantha is a young leader who is doing wonderful things with sea life to help people understand them, and also to train them for military use. She bonds with them whales and dolphins, as they do with her. She has the ability to stay underwater for extended amounts of time , burn takes many chances with her life in the name of science. Fortunately, she has a dad, brother and uncle who look out for her and spank her as needed to ensure she is more careful with her life.
I absolutely love the relationship Sam has with her brother Michael and her Dad. The whole story is different and yet follows along the same lines as her others... SPANKING!!! Her brother loves her so much, willing to go to any lengths to protect her and keep her safe, it's beautiful. You rarely see that kind of sibling affection very often.All it was lacking was her love interest, which will come out in the next book, which will be coming out... when? Please hurry with it. I am getting really impatient to read the next one.Love you, Breanna!
Another brilliant book by this wonderful author. My only complaint was that the story ended! The Siren is boom one of a trilogy. This book introduces our lovely siren Sam, her brother Mick, father Dr Michael Quimby and uncle Scott. It brings you into their lives as Scientists doing amazing things. Sam is a firecracker who puts herself in danger one to many times and her family decide that it's time she learned to obey their orders even if it means she can't sit down for a week!Loved it. Can't wait for more!!!
I absolutely loved this book! Breanna Hayse created a story with adventure, interesting and loveable characters, with a domestic discipline theme. Book 1 is not a love story, but about a family whose respect and love holds them together. I can't wait for book 2 and the love interest to show up. Read it ... you won't be sorry.
