Islamic designs do not include animals or plants. Islamic art is purely geometric.
It wasn't too useful to me, but you may have a use for it. No color.

this is a great collection of designs to work with ..some are easy, some are not, but all are beautiful.
This book has great designs, many are difficult though but they inspire me for my ceramic designs. Nice book with a great variety of designs.
This is a great addition to my art-reference library. I just sometimes visually soak in reference before beginning a personally developed art project. Gets the juices flowing in a given direction.
I was always interested in Islamic designs, especially when I learned how to make some of them in geometry class in high school. I wanted this book as a reference, for which it was good. It also showed how to make some of the designs, but not all or most. However, something is better nothing, so for the price, I guess it's definitely worth it.
Book was ok but poorly laid out kinda a bad printing. Poor drafting on the designsPaper quality poor lame coloring
